Macintosh SE Modification

I've managed to insert a motherboard running an intel core 2 duo into this macintosh case and also squeeze in a monochrome CRT monitor

here's a rough set up of the machine running on it's own power. In fact I'm writing this post with it now!

there is a SSF PSU on it's way to replace the bulky atx PSU that I'm using to test the system and a handful of cables and adapters to finish the aesthetics. Figured I'd update you all on how things are going.

Apple Macintosh Plus - windows mod with matching keyboard and mouse!

I found a mouse that I was working on some time ago and finished it, It's an apple mighty mouse inside of an original Macintosh mouse. Only problem is one button click which if I was running macintosh OS would be fine but I'm using windows so there's no right click.

So I have been playing around with the Macintosh Plus mod I've been working on, currently got it displaying from my Windows 7 desktop which is also a Hackintosh project.

It works but there is still lots of bugs, the screen doesn't display in full, you have to go off screen to select things in the tool bar is a problem so it's on the right hand side of the screen for now but I know its because the screen will only display in low resolution, I have had to manually adjust the Horrizontal hold to get an image, I think once I display from the raspberry pi or AV to VGA adapter I'll get a full image , also the AV to VGA adapter has a function to adjust the screen size in the adapter so I can pull it in a bit at the corners and hopefully get a better picture.

Hello World!

I am back again, I have had a break from customising mac's. But this afternoon I built this macintosh plus with a black and white display so you can't tell its been modded! Well, you can a bit...!

What's new?

I've been away again for a few months busy with other projects such as restoring an old Hofner Senator guitar and fixing my 1975 Vespa 150 Super.

Sold a few computers, but non of my Macs (though my SE was up for sale for a month but no bites!).

My iMac G4 broke! but I bought a new one with a better processor and now it runs OS10.5


I have The Original Sims complete installed on it along with Age of Empires II. Also got Garage Band and Photoshop on there. Been playing around with some other old programs too,


I built a Hackin'tosh! I made a power mac G4 into a powerful computer ready for Mac OSX but for now I'm running windows 7 on it because I need to buy a new hard drive, ram and graphics card to take it to its full potential. Also, its a bit difficult as I'm more of a hardware guy than software. would help if someone could skype me with some help on how to install mac os. I know I need those programs and I had it on for about 3 hours but it crashed and wouldn't boot back up.

I got a broken iMac G4 from eBay (I say broken but I mean completely fine but not up to my standard) and I gutted my eMac to add more RAM, a better HDD and a much more modern OS
which supports Wifi and allows me to browse the internet and use Skype!
